INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Maestro's Internet site, the site dedicated to Milo Manara and His complete works. This site provides as much information as possible about Milo Manara' s opera omnia, including interviews, critical essays and pictures of Him. I am not only the creator of MAESTROMANARA.ORG, but mostly a great lover of superheroes and horror comics.

His true name is Maurilio and he was born in Luson, district of Bolzano (I), on September 12th, 1945. As a student in the '60s, he illustrated the posters of a militant Maoist group. The
Maestro esteems immensely Hugo Pratt,
first of all his adventurous life, and they
were great friends. When Pratt died in
1995, (A SUIVRE) released a special issue
where he was remembered through many
stories, old and new, inspired by or dedicated
to his characters. There's also the Maestro
among the authors of this anthology, with
the previously published story "DEDICATED
TO CORTO MALTESE"
